Yamaha TX7
Overview
The Yamaha TX7 is a rackmount FM synthesizer module based on the legendary Yamaha DX7, delivering the same iconic six-operator FM synthesis engine in a compact 1U format. Released in 1985, the TX7 provides the unmistakable electric pianos, bells, basses, brass, and evolving digital textures that defined the sound of the 1980s. Fully compatible with DX7 voice data, it became a popular choice for studio musicians and touring performers looking to expand their FM capabilities without adding another keyboard.
Once added to Midisuite, along with it's sister the DX7, the TX7 fast became the most used synth in the office. Although famous for it's bells and brass, once you get to tweaking those operators, boy does this thing make some insanely good sounds!

Limitations/Quirks
Midisuite supports all capabilities of the Yamaha TX7. Unlike it's sister, the DX7, The TX7 accepts dump requests including Multi (performance) dumps.
