Yamaha DX7
Overview
The Yamaha DX7 is one of the most influential synthesizers ever created, revolutionising the music industry with its groundbreaking FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesis. Released in 1983, the DX7 introduced musicians to a completely new sonic palette, capable of producing everything from iconic electric pianos and bells to expressive basses, brass, pads, and evolving digital textures. Its distinctive sound defined countless recordings throughout the 1980s and continues to inspire musicians and sound designers today.
Once added to Midisuite, the DX7 fast became the most used synth in the office. Although the DX7 is famous for it's bells and brass, once you get to tweaking those operators, boy does this thing make some awesome sounds!

Limitations/Quirks
Midisuite supports all capabilities of the Yamaha DX7 but the device does not accept dump requests. Dumps are initiated on the device (instructions are given when you add the DX7 to your Patches Studio).
